Following the idea of an eye on a poster, I started taking some pictures. I used my eye and took it in the mirror (which wasn't as hard as one would think!) and put the camera on extreme close-up mode so that it would not be blurry and ineditable. Photo 1 is a photo not on close up mode.
I understood that the lighting would also have an effect upon the way the photo comes out. In my kitchen, the lighting is very bright and there are lots of surfaces for the light to bounce off of. Photo 2 is an example of what these photos looked like.
I used fake blood to run down my eye but because of reasons stated on the bottle, I couldn’t put it in my eyes to get the effect I planned of having the reflection of a knife stabbing the eye. Photo 3 is an example of the effect of lighting on the photo.
