A horror film in which a health carer discovers the mysteries of a haunted japanese house. The ghosts of a girl and a boy start following her and killing people. It is an extremely jumpy and suspenseful film and very dark.
What does the poster tell us in relation to what I know? A scary black (japanese) eye is the main focus with hair over her face. The eye suggests the killers are watching and the covering of the face suggests that they are hidden, as well as their pasts. The Grudge is a telling title, written in red to suggest blood will be drawn in the film. The greeny-grey shade of skin reminds me of death and te eye is dark and evil looking. This all ties in very well with the film. However, the main character, a woman and healthcarer, is not mentioned at all and there is no revealing of a story, just a theme of horror and unforgiving stories.
