This is a minimalistic poster and typical of the sci-fi Star Wars films. However, if I were to look at it having no experience of Star Wars ever, I would say it is a little worrying in a way. An innocent looking boy has the shadow of a tall figure, cloaked with a hat or mask on. The colours denote a fresh start as I analysed to the left, due to the blue sky and the plain rocks. The only darkness in this poster is the shadow, telling me that something evil is following the little boy. The episode idea already tells the audience there will be more and the adsense of a release date leaves them wanting to know more.

This is a creepy poster, but I do not get the impression it is a horror. It could be a thriller but with a historical type twist. There will be murders; the red eye tells us this. The black background says there is fear and death in this film, as does the gas mask of the main focus image. The reflection of masked men with guns is intimidating and scary, announcing the arrival of murders again. But as it is a reflection, it leaves the audience confused at who is the bad side; the people in the reflection with the guns or the evil-faced gas mask...

Immediately, one would assume this is a fantasy film mainly due to the titles and the clouds. The colours tell the audience that there is despair and sadness, as does the main girls expression. The fact that half of her face is cut out maybe represents the hidden identity of part of her character or the story as a whole. It also adds to the dramatic image of the fantasy genre. The typeface of the titles are different, the subtitle being mroe mystical than the name which is a great deal larger. The release date is small but precise.

This is a spooky poster and reminds me at first glance of a crying child with face paint on, which isn't a nice image. The Batman symbol is easily recognisable by everyone and so that explains itself. The brick wall and the 'searchlight' lighting tells me there are criminals and crimes to solve in a city. The red denotes death, as do the circle black eyes. The black eyes also remind me on psycho's and madness. The tagline contrasts with the 'facepaint' idea which has been graffitied on the wall. The release date has been kept to a year and there is a website and institutions at the bottom
