New Line Cinemas

Here is the animated logo that appears before or during trailers. It is dark and sort of fits in with the genre of my trailer. I have noticed that scary films often have a fitting colour of producers logos. An example is Warner Bros. in the Harry Potter trailers and before the films.

So, why might I choose New Line Cinemas?

It is one of the major American film studios. In 1996, though it initially began as an independent film studio, it became a subsidiary of Time Warner and is now a division of Warner Bros. New Line continues to market, produce and distribute its films; however, it does so now as a part of Warner Bros.

Unlike other independent studios such as Orion Pictures, Carolco Pictures, or Cannon Films, New Line Cinema grew and prospered to become one of Hollywood's major film studios, culminating in the hit Lord of the Rings film trilogy that brought commercial success to the studio.

This seems to be quite a good choice of distributor and I have decided I will use it. It would benefit my film as it has a good reputation and is a good distributor to be associated with.
