After twelve hours of filming over two days, filming was finished Thursday night and in time for the deadline the next day. I learnt a lot and got a lot out of using and being taught how to use professional equipment properly. I gained a lot of skills from it. This means that I will begin editing this week and hopefully transfer it to my own Apple computer so that I can get on with it over half term too.
In editing, I hope to begin with just putting together the shots in the correct order. At filming, I improvised with a couple more shots so that if my original ones did not work for me, I could use another instead that would have the same, or very similar, meaning or message.
When I have ordered my shots, I will be able to focus on the types of transactions; some improvised and some as originally planned. Changing some may result in a better trailer as having the real film infront of you gives you a better idea of what it will come across as to an audience, as opposed to a written/drawn storyboard.
Can't wait! :)
