Ideas for comparison work and common themes

I thought that I should write down some themes so that I can get a good idea of what to put into my trailer and how to compile and construct it. I will need to look at some work from creations made by the real people in the business to grasp these ideas. In terms of film, I will be studying and analysing the themes of:

• Obsession
• Stalking
• Anger
• Murder
• Fear
• Murder scenes in a house

When I have established the typical codes and conventions of representing these themes through moving image (be it a movie, trailer or programme), I will be able to work on my original storyboard to make it better and more appealing to a horror-loving audience of all ages.
